FALL TO JUNE is undoubtedly about to release their breakout album. FTJ may be a newer name in the hard rock scene, but the band features veteran musicians in the form of seasoned bassist Jeremy Marshall (formerly of two-time Gold-certified grunge/alternative rock band COLD) and drummer Nate Yant (ex-NerVer, featuring Casey Daniel of Seven Mary Three). In addition, the band boasts brimming talents Dan Mickler (guitars) and Ben Badger (vocals).
With this line-up solidified, the band was able to grab the attention of Brad Stewart at Ballistic Audio Productions, known for his work with Puddle of Mudd, as well as his time as an original member of Shinedown. Stewart is a current member of platinum-selling rock band Fuel.
"When I first heard FALL TO JUNE, it gave me hope that real rock n' roll still exists in this world," states Brad Stewart. "The performances on the record are tasteful with a variety of influences ranging from swampy down home Southern rock and soul to high intensity super rock. FALL TO JUNE is the shot in the ass that the rock world needs right now."
In addition to the band's existing members, ex-Shinedown guitarist Jasin Todd will wield the lead axe during FALL TO JUNE's upcoming tour (read below). Todd was approached by producer Brad Stewart to be a part of the album and immediately accepted the offer. Stewart felt Todd would be a perfect addition to the group.
Jasin Todd offers, "I believe it was around the middle of February last year when delivery of a hand written, wax sealed envelope arrived by carrier. This was a strange and rather unnerving way to receive word on anything, as most prefer the route of email as of late. Cracking the crimson seal stamped by the familiar insignia of BA (Ballistic Audio), it soon became apparent to me that Brad Stewart was in need of my services yet again. There are few I hold in such high regards, so without a thought, I offered my specialties to FALL TO JUNE. Now, here we are with a new album to be released this spring!"
