ETHS comment: "We are thrilled to announce that R.U.L will be banging the drums for us on our next live shows. Our first rehearsals with him were mind-blowing and we cannot wait to introduce you to this very talented drummer! We had a great time with Yom and wrote some of our best songs together, but after a lot of deliberating we reached the shared conclusion to proceed on separate paths. Yom remains a dear friend and we wish him all the best for the future!"

The new percussionist adds: "It is an honour for me to be playing with ETHS and it is a great pleasure to work with them", R.U.L comments. "I cannot thank them enough for their trust!"

The latest sold out EP of ETHS 'Ex Umbra In Solem' (2014) came with the following promo-text: ETHS are back with a vengeance! When charismatic frontwoman Candice left for personal reasons in 2012, many thought the band had reached the end of their burgeoning career. Yet the Marseillais were far from finished and scored a coup by enlisting vocalist Rachel Aspe. The singer had already won broad attention, which is highlighted by over a million clicks on a clip showing her growling away at an awe struck jury at France' biggest talent show. The new EP entitled "Ex Umbra In Solem" puts an exclamation mark behind the new singer's huge talent. The title-track is a brand new song recorded, produced and mixed by ETHS guitarist Staif. Rachel's vitriolic vocals fit perfectly to the pounding riff barrage of the band's modern metal style. Her ability to perform the band's classic songs is backed by three tracks recorded live on last October 24th at the Divan du Monde in Paris and mixed by Nikhertz at Studio Phantom. Last but not least, the EP includes three songs from the latest album "III" (2012), which have been re-recorded with Rachel on vocals. There is an astonishing similarity between the voices of Candice and Rachel, but at the same time the new singer stamps her own brutal mark onto these songs. ETHS were founded in Marseilles and rapidly managed to conquer the covers of French music magazines following the wildfire success of their EPs "Autopsie" (2000) and "Samantha" (2002). Debut album "Soma" (2004) saw the band opening for CHILDREN OF BODOM and CRADLE OF FILTH in France. With the follow-up "Tératologie" (2008), ETHS demonstrated their experience and maturity grown out of playing hundreds of shows. With their excellent third effort "III", the Marseillais took their challenge abroad by releasing four English versions of the original French songs on an international edition. "Ex Umbra In Solem" wasl exclusively sold in French stores and through the Season of Mist's e-shop as well as being released digitally worldwide. Witness ETHS to be very much alive and kicking!

ETHS are currently hard at work on their forthcoming fourth full-length, which is tentatively scheduled for a late 2015 / early 2016 release.
