Progressive metal giantsDREAM THEATERwill embark on a U.S. headlining tour in September with support from theirRoadrunner RecordslabelmatesTRIVIUM. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

"On The Backs Of Angels", a brand new song fromDREAM THEATER, is available for streaming at theRoadrunner RecordsYouTube channel. The track comes off the band's new album,"A Dramatic Turn Of Events", which is scheduled for release on September 13 viaRoadrunner Records. The CD was mixed byAndy Wallace, who has previously worked withAVENGED SEVENFOLD,WHITE ZOMBIE,RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE,SEPULTURA,SLAYERandNIRVANA, among many others.

TRIVIUM's new album,"In Waves", will be released on August 9 viaRoadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2008's"Shogun"was recorded primarily atPaint It Black Studiosin Orlando, Florida (with only the drums having been tracked atAudiohammer Studiosin Sanford, Florida) with the production/mixing team ofColin Richardson(MACHINE HEAD,BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE,SLIPKNOT,FEAR FACTORY) andMartin "Ginge" Ford, along with engineerCarl Bown.
