Perth, Australia's depressive black-metal dwellers Deadspace are currently streaming their debut album "The Promise of Oblivion" in its entirety and is available on CD/Digital download at this location.

Engineered and produced by Drew James Griffiths & Chris Gebauer, "The Promise of Oblivion" follows up a split-ep with Onomy issued in late 2014 and boasts eight depressive and gloomy soundscapes fusing elements of black metal, death rock and goth-rock.

'The Promise Of Oblivion' is available on CD/Digital download at this location.

Originally conceived in 2014 as by Chris Gebauer (Earth Rot/Sensory Amusia) as an outlet for his continuous feelings of depression, Perth, Western Australia's Deadspace has now morphed into a tight unit of musicians from Perth's underground metal scene.

With the line-up now completed by Drew James Griffiths (Ur Draugr, Watercolour Ghosts) on guitars/backing vocals, Nish Raghavan (Xenobiotic) and Alex Borserini (Sensory Amusia, I Am Eternal) on guitars and Ben Stanley (Sanzu, Malignant Monster) on live drums, Deadspace created a genuinely depressive and gloomy sound, characterised in equal parts by elements of black metal, death rock, goth and ambient music.

Based around the darker aspects of life like depression and suicide, the band's debut album "The Promise of Oblivion" is an organic, deeply disturbing musical experience that shares some similarities to acts like Shining, Lifelover, Forgotten Tomb and even Christian Death.
