Latin American metal supergroup, DE LA TIERRA release their self-titled debut album through Roadrunner Records on 3rd March.

The band, whose name translates as 'From The Earth', features Sepultura's legendary guitarist Andreas Kisser, A.N.I.M.A.L's frontman Andrés Giménez, bassist Sr. Flavio of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Alex González of Maná on drums.

Having initially been put together 'for fun', the band turned into a full blown proposition and an album quickly came together. Get a taster for the band by checking out the video for lead track, 'Maldita Historia'.

According to frontman Andrés, the single "talks about the experiences of somebody who wants to live his dream and finds himself tackling the obstacles always found in life. We live in a world plagued by corruption, lies, lack of opportunities, inequality; that is the 'maldita historia' (damned history). Yet it offers a positive outlook: if you set your mind to it, it can be reversed. So, here we are; it's up to us to either give up the struggle or continue until we reach our desired goal."
