DAWN OF A DARK AGE: Mixing third album with the Finnish singer Raato
May 13, 2015
DAWN OF A DARK AGE, extreme avant-garde black metal band led by multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Sabelli, is mixing the third album 'Fire'.
The Finnish singer Raato (Graveborne, Grym) joined in this new chapter of the saga 'The Six Elements', together with the Underworld String Trio, MM and Antje Palka.
A new exciting pagan trip where black metal meets free jazz, popular and contemporary music, and raw guitars are blended with viola, cello, clarinet and saxophone in a very and singular sound.
Comments the leader: "I am proud of the contribution that new musicians have added to my music, we are moving away from the uniformity of sounds and the repetitive patterns that reign supreme in the black metal, always looking for new musical ways and a very unique identity in the metal scene".
The cover artwork was once again created by artist Nino R. Mejia, who previously worked with the band on chapters I 'Earth' and II 'Water', and the photos by Vittorio Labanca.
More details are coming soon.
