Darkness Divided made their name with the unabashed, hard-hitting first single, 2014's "The Hands That Bled," from their first full length endeavor, Written In Blood. Today the band debuts a new video as a special acoustic reworking of the song.

"The song came together in a way that was much grander than I previously could have imagined," confesses bassist Joseph Mora, who also plays keyboards and backing vocals on the track. "The original song lends itself to re-imagination, but I think the interplay between the voice, cello, and piano parts in the acoustic version really make it much more than a simple restructuring of "The Hands That Bled". We all had an extraordinary time getting out of our comfort zone to create something we can actually show our grandparents without worrying about their pacemakers malfunctioning."

As Darkness Divided preps to record the follow up to Written In Blood, the band announced "The Voiceless Tour," kicking off tonight in Nashville as they step out across the US to give fans one last live performance this year. Written In Blood hit #59 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and received praise worldwide, including Decibel Magazine describing the record as a "Heavy, unpredictable romp that could move a staid subgenre in a more inventive direction."

"This is the last tour of the Written In Blood album cycle. This last year has been an adventure and we are excited to get back out and play Written In Blood one last time until we lock ourselves away to record our new record," declares vocalist Gerard Mora. "We've been writing the new record, and we are very happy to end this chapter of Darkness Divided to prepare for a new one. See y'all out there!"
