CONGIURA's fast, obscure and epic sound blends old school and melodic death metal in the likes of AT THE GATES, BLOODBATH and INSOMNIUM.

The band commented " ...Requiem represents our very personal view on human mental disorders such as anxiety, panic attacks and many other struggles we get to face daily, often leaving us with permanent inner scars and marks. Indeed, the album cover artwork by the talented artist Davide Mancini shows a storm of merciless demons spinning and tearing their victims apart, just like obsessive thinking can be for people. Requiem was recorded, mixed and mastered at Kick Recording Studio in Rome by Marco Mastrobuono (FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, HOUR OF PENANCE).

The album features guest backing vocals by Alessio Pacifici (DR. GORE) on the track "Dead Oak" and guest lead guitars by Marco Mastrobuono (HOUR OF PENANCE) on the track "Requiem For Humanity".
