Melbourne's BLKLST today dropped their second single, 'Let Go', from the upcoming Spider Love EP and it's a haunting, infectious track that's had my repeat button on lock down.

'Let Go' premiered with Short Fast Loud on Wednesday night and opens with clean vocals that set the tone for the rest of the track. The cleans are reminiscent of a sirens call for the depths - the depths being the all encompassing darkness that follows drug abuse.

'They All Look The Same' featuring Aiden Ellaz from Dealer preceded 'Let Go' and was a huge first offering, setting the bar high for this next release, in which it certainly lives up to.

The singles "Hypocrite" and "Phase" from last years Hard to Swallow EP skyrocketed BLKLST's Spotify fan base by a whopping 2069% to over 25k listeners in that month and the band found themselves placed in playlists including New Metal Tracks and Rock Out - and sold out their hometown EP launch show at Stay Gold. "Hypocrite" was spun on triple j's The Racket, added to rotation on The Faction Radio, added to Spotify Official's Homegrown and Heavy playlist and the clip was played on Rage. killyourstereo.com stated that "Hypocrite" is BLKLST at "...not only their most dynamic and darkest here, but also at their most interesting too."
