One of the biggest rock stories of 2014, South Carolina'sISLANDERhave partnered with Billboard to premiere the music video for "New Wave".

The second single from the blockbuster debut albumViolence & Destruction, "New Wave" is an extension to the massively popular "Coconut Dracula", which took the South Carolina quartet from obscurity to new heights in the music world.

Mikey Carvajal (vocals) explains the songs nativity, "'New Wave' is one of my favorite songs on the record. When I was writing the lyrics, (producer) Cameron Webb put me in a room by myself and turned on a movie filled with random footage and people surfing in slow motion. So when I hear the song, that's still what I think about. It's a joyful song about the end of the world. I also pick on myself a bit because of my love for new wave music like Depeche Mode and New Order".
