(New York, NY) English indie-rockers Banfi are excited to release a preview of The Jack Powell EP due out tomorrow, March 16th, via Play Nice / Communion Records. The EP is now streaming in full via Live Nation's Ones To Watch. Pulling from the personal and sentimental, Banfi's dynamic translates into this electrifying emotion that is often missing in contemporary indie music. It's no surprise OTW dubbed Banfi as a "standout" in the genre while praising them for "unique exploration of loss and longing." Fans can tune in and listen to The Jack Powell EP here:

Earlier this month, the trio premiered a cover of Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street" on Pancakes and Whiskey, who commended the band for their "lush and impressive tunes." Prior to the that, Banfi unveiled the first single of 2018 off the EP entitled "Never Really Cared" via PopMatters.

The brand new EP kicks off another musical year for the London three-piece, following last year's huge support on air from the likes of BBC 6Music, Radio X and Virgin Radio. Banfi have spent the last two years winning over fans on the road, adeptly backed with "Happy When You Go" and "Rosedale House," their genre-melding guitar-inflected singles that have pricked ears and set tongues wagging across the blogosphere. At the top of 2017, their four-date monthly residency at The Old Blue Last was swiftly followed up by a turn supporting Bear's Den on their UK and European tour, leading into a summer festival run that took in the likes of Bushstock, Truck, Dot To Dot, Boardmasters and a career highlight set at Citadel.
