On August 14th Arch Enemy and Testament performed at Summer Breeze 2014. Testament closed the night and invited Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz on stage to perform "Into The Pit" with the band. Check out the fan-filmed video below:

Arch Enemy's cover of the Mike Oldfield classic "Shadow On The Wall", which appears on the digipack version of the band's new album War Eternal, was recently posted online. Vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has checked in with her take on the song:

"I had SO many ideas on how to approach this cover song. I was DYING to rip into some soaring clean vocals! In the end we decided to go for this dark, atmospheric version that focuses on and reflects the powerful lyrics (I was really feeling them!). We just let the creative juices flow and came up with what you will hear below! Lots of fun!"

Guitarist Michael Amott comments:

"I wonder if Mike Oldfield would enjoy Arch Enemy's cover of 'Shadow On The Wall' It was great fun arranging and recording this version. I do recall reading years ago that he enjoys some heavy metal now and again, so who knows?"
