Andy The Kid will release his brand new EP Linchpin worldwide on May 5th, just weeks ahead of his Australian homecoming tour, direct from LA. Andy will bring his EP with him to a short run of four dates - including his hometown of Townsville, then making a 3-day run from Melbourne back to Brisbane, before heading back to Hollywood!

The EP is a dream for Andy to have put together - the 6 tracks feature performances by Chris Hall (Stabbing Westward), Aaron Nordstrom (Gemini Syndrome), Jimmy Trigger (We Are the Riot) and Toby Rand (Juke Kartel). Mix these ingredients and these performances generously and the result is a powerhouse of heavy rock.

The Townsville-born metalhead moved to Los Angeles in early 2008 with a suitcase, a bass guitar, and big dreams - and ended up touring with Static-X in 2012.

The Static-X shows led to ATK playing bass for founding member Wayne Static in '13 and '14, when he took his career solo. These shows led to yet another American tour, this time filling in for Chicago natives DOPE.

Andy The Kid will now bring his unique perspective and show to Australia with his tracks, Static-X, We Are the Riot and DOPE songs all being featured in the show. Fronting the band will be Benjamin Hatch (Full Devil Jacket, Vessel 33) and the tour will visit the iconic Espy in Melbourne, the hip-as-fuck Spectrum in Sydney and the vibing New Globe Theatre in Brisbane in late May.

Linchpin was recorded by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static-X, Dethklok, Deftones) at Lavish Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Rocco Gaurino (Velvet Revolver, Scott Weiland). The EP is released in iTunes, Spotify and all good online outlets May 5th.
