Critical praise for ALTERBEAST's sophomore album Feast:
"With Feast, Alterbeast cement themselves as one of the perfect technical death metal bands. Displaying unsurpassable technical ability and face-melting shred in an accessible, enjoyable and supremely catchy package, Feast is an early favourite for many end-of-year lists." - Metal Wani
"Downright brutal in all the best ways..." - Dead Rhetoric
"Feast lives up to its name, delivering a sumptuous banquet of death metal that's sure to satisfy fans of contemporary brutality. With elements of technical, melodic, and modern death metal all wrapped up in a pristine production and with performances that can't be faulted, this is an album that's flawlessly executed." - Wonderbox Metal
"This album is without a shadow of a doubt a step up and a more evolved effort that expands the band's sound compared to their debut "Immortal," while still retaining all of Andrew Lamb's signature riffing styles...tech death fans everywhere need to be pre-ordering the crap out of this thing." - Metal Trenches
"Laden with insane percussion, over-the-top fretwork and unholy vocal prowess, even the most lusting and gluttonous appetites got absurd heaviness will find themselves satiated by the band's most recent effort. Comprehensive in its approach to deliver aggression in all forms, Feast is just that-a true smorgasbord for the ears-and the perfect way to kick in 2018's doors." - New Transcendence
"All in all, I thought that the entirety of Feast definitely showed off Alterbeast's musical skills as they showcased all of their different song structures, vocal variety, perfect usage of sound effects, and a total mastering of their instruments into it. If death metal is up your alley, then I would wholeheartedly recommend this album to everyone." - Mayhem Music Magazine
