Rock powerhouse, Alter Bridgeare pleased to reveal they are hard at work on the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2013 album, "Fortress". The as-yet-untitled fifth album is tentatively set for release Autumn 2016 with producer Michael 'Elvis' Baskette at the helm again.

After extensive requests from fans for unique or special Alter Bridgeitems over the years, the band are kicking off the start of the new album cycle with exactly that. Via Fret 12, a company long-associated with the members of Alter Bridge, those interested will now have the chance for the first-time to get their hands on a range of goodies and experiences, giving them intimate access into the world of band members Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips.

Alter Bridge burst onto the music scene in 2004 with the release of their gold-selling debut, "One Day Remains". In 2007, the band released 'Blackbird', the album that established the band's profile worldwide. The epic solo in the title track was voted 'Greatest Guitar Solo Of All Time' by the UK's Guitarist Magazine. ABIII was released in 2010 and the single 'Isolation' gave the band their first #1 radio single in the USA. The critically acclaimed 'Fortress' was released in 2013 and achieved Top 10 status in 5 countries and Top 20 in another 5, collectively the band's highest worldwide chart positions to date; sending them on a number of international arena-sized tours. When ALTER BRIDGE is on hiatus, singer Myles Kennedy can be found fronting Slash's band, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Guitarist Mark Tremonti will soon be releasing his third effort from his band Tremonti, titled 'Dust', in April 2016. Scott Phillips formed Projected with John Connolly and Vinnie Hornsby of Sevendust and released their debut in 2012.
