According to the Kirriemuir Herald, all roads lead to Kirriemuir this weekend for the annual pilgrimage to AC/DC - the Bon Scott Fest.

This Saturday would have been Bon's 65th birthday, and fans from all over the world (including a bus-load of 50 from Berlin) will descend on Kirrie to honour the memory of the Kirrie-born wildman of rock. The town's hotel rooms have been booked solid for months in anticipation of what promises to be a weekend to remember.

Two days of great music are planned, with local favourites BUCK ROGERS, EMERALD SUNDAY and THE TRADE playing on Friday in the Town Hall (tickets £10 available on the door on the night). Each band will be playing a special AC/DC cover as part of their set. On Saturday afternoon, many of the pubs in town will have live music playing as a warm-up to the main event in the Town Hall, where the incredible AC/DC cover band, BON'S BALLS will prepare to rock Kirrie all night long.
