First of all since you are a new band, we would like you to tell us a few words about the history of the band.

Well, it goes back a long time. ...Me, Martin and Wojtek started playing together ten years ago. Then for some reasons we put the bands in the ice for a couple of years because of music studies, other bands and other stuff. Two years ago we decided to start the band again we started to work on the material for our debut album. So here we are today.

Now tell us a few words about your debut album Awakening The World. How can you describe your music and how do you feel about the album.

We feel that we have documented ten years of musical carriers and we put all of our musical knowledge into third album. We have worked very very hard to do it as good as it can possible be. Some of the songs are ten years old and they didn't sound like this ten years ago. Now we put our knowledge into the songs and we did some rearrangements and we feel very happy about the results.

Now, something that we noticed. You recorded every instrument in different studio. Why did you do this?

Well, first of all different studios in Gothenburg where we live are good in different things. For instance we choosed Fredman to record the drums because he is one of the top metal recorders of the world. He is very good, he knows his stuff. Also it's very important to change environment when you record an album because if you sit in the same room for several months you lose energy and motivations which is really important to move around.

What are you musical influences?

We all grew up in the 80's listening to heavy metal. Bands like Iron Maiden, Dio, Ozzy, Ratt and all of those big bands. We also listen to many different kinds of music. We listen to many genres.

What does the title of the album means? With what the lyrics deal about?

If you take a look around the world, you'll see that something is not right. There are lot of people in this world who don't have a good time here. The lyrics we write is about listening to your inner voice. Don't listen to what other people say. Listen only your heart and do what you want to do. Follow your dreams! Do you understand what I mean?

Yeah. As you may know you are the first Power Metal band that music for nations signed. How do you feel about that?

First of all we are not a Power Metal band. We play true metal.

Yeah, Heavy Metal..

True metal. It is very good to have a strong label. They believe in us. We send our first demo to many companies but Music For Nations was the one we felt that really understood the greatness of our music and that they really wanted to put it out in the world in a big way. That's what we wanted to do. We didn't wanted to wait 'till the third album and then have good promotion. This kind of music comes from no where and strikes straight to your face and we hope people will like it.

How do you feel that you have around you in Music For Nations mostly extreme metal bands?

It's OK. We have our own collaboration with MFN. What other band's do doesn't affect us.

How do you plan to promote Awakening The World. Do you plan a tour or something?

We want to play everywhere. Our plan is to play live as much as we can.

What do you think are the elements that will make Lost Horizon stand out of the other new bands in the heavy metal genre?

The true power and force in our music. I think that we have put much energy into this album. We have suffered a lot in the studio and when people hear it they can feel our energy.

What's your relationship with the Internet?

With Internet?

Yeah, do you have a homepage as a band.

Yeah we have one. The address is www.oncelosthorizon.com . We want to make an great homepage. We are gonna use the Internet media in many ways.

Do you use Internet?

Yes I do. Almost everyday.

What are your plans for the future now that you released your first album?

We want to release new albums as good as this one. We want to develop our sound and we don't want to sound the same all the time. We want to continue to play true metal.

OK, and now a few words to your fans.

Remember to listen to the voice inside of you, because if you follow your inner voice you'll get where you want to go in your life.

That's it! Thanks.
