No, we never received anything negative from the name.
It's nice, you know, but it's not that special. The Finnish media hates us. We sell good over there but we are not stars. I don't really care.
It must be a good kick in the teeth for the media though.
Yeah, that's a good thing
It has been great. All the shows so far have been sold out, it's looking very good. Canada has always been good to us.
Yeah and that show has already sold out as well!
The media has a really big control but I think it's kind of a more Pop music kind of thing. For us it's not that drastic.
Now that we have played in Australia, we have pretty much played everywhere but there are some discussions about some shows in China, Dubai and Indonesia.
It's just being by yourself and not having so much fucking hassle around you, and relaxing, taking it easy.
Well, I have never been into religions at all. Touring the world has made me even more aware of this like people living in cardboard boxes in Mexico City. Basically the more I travel, the more I see and the less I am into religions.
How do you feel about the lyrics in a lot of songs these days having the ability to cause repercussions towards the musicians. For example Rap music?
Hmm, well you know, I don't really care about the lyrics in music. I'm more into the melodies and the music itself. I don't care about the message but yeah I know what you mean.
(Laughs) Good question! Yeah, we do have to tell people, especially when we are in the States. You give someone your driving license and they are like yeah Finland, isn't that in Russia? (Laughs) Yeah, so sometimes it's quite funny!
Ah, I guess the Japan shows, yeah the Japan shows were great and some of the festivals we have done have been really good. Stuff like that.
Yeah Alexi [Laiho - vocals & guitar] is a big fan of W.A.S.P. That song was already recorded like 6 or 7 years ago, maybe even more actually.
Oh, kind of. Not in a way that...[Pauses]
I think that some of her songs are killer Pop hits. You kind of have to dig it a little bit but that's where I draw the line.
What does the future hold after this tour? What are the foreseeable plans?
There's touring, touring, so much touring, ah it's a ten month world tour and we only started like a month ago in Australia so that is the main focus right now.
Wow you know everyone asks me this question. I really don't know. I have no fucking idea. I guess you could put it down to the cold winter! (Laughs)
No not really. Hm, I don't know, it's a difficult question. There is this one band which is more like a Rock 'n' Roll band that I have recently worked on their album. They are really good, I have no idea if it will be released outside of Finland.
I want to thank everybody for coming to the shows and buying the albums and we will see you on tour.
