ANIMAL HOUSE: finished new disc and "First Blood" leaving good impression
October 3, 2014
Modern Metal please even the most discriminating fan.
But as everything has a beginning, let's back to the band's first album "First Blood", which was created to shape the style of the group and put things in their proper places.
Still undergoing restructuring of its formation the ANIMAL HOUSE has been fighting for its space, and "First Blood" showed a lot of quality, and a lot of guts, to record the same as the band went through various difficulties, as the lead singer explains Mutley:
"Nothing is easy in Brazil, and then music is one of the most complicated, because lack of support, a lot of commitment and marriage. In "First Blood" dealt with all that and then some, and the lack of character and commitment of the person who produced the album, which ended up charging a fortune and did not leave the final result as I wanted. But after that, the album was born and I'm very proud of him, it proves a lot of willpower and we can not give up what both want.
An embryo than Animal House became, but served to experience an improvement and personal growth both as a musical. Anyway, a great album that shows what we can offer."
Check out what the blog Metal Samsara talked about "First Blood": "... we see good revelations emerge, and one of them is this great quartet ANIMAL HOUSE, which thanks to a wide range of influences as well, sounds heavy and sticky, always firm and vibrant, in a well Hard'n'Heavy mix."
The Road to Metal site also left its impression on "First Blood": "Powerful riffs, striking vocals and pulsating kitchen, make "First Blood".
