Stormlord

Well, I want to be honest with you. I am not a fan of bands like Cradle of Filth and Mcdimmu burger (aka Dimmu Borgir).
Stormlord is a band from Italy. We've seen lots of very good bands from there. Mortuary Drape, Necromass, Handfull Of Hate, Nazgoat, Frostmoon Eclipse and Abhor.Stormlord are good bands with very good musicians, very good drumming, vocals styles like Frostmoon Eclipse, lots of Heavy Metal riffs, lots of synths (why guys? Do you fear the results without the synths?) but this stops here...
...Typically fast - Mostly - Black Metal , but not something original. I think that they don't have at all emotions in this music. Under The Boards (195, M.A) is a very good song with hatred, agony and anger . Well, I suppose that Stormlord can outplay Dimmu Borgir and C.O.F for fun but not any deeper into the underground hordes.
In this CD Stormlord also have a cover of Iron Maiden's "Moonchild which I must admit is good.
Proceed by instinct. Buy it or not, it's your choice. I know I wouldn't buy it...
