It's a very, very cold Tuesday evening in Manchester, but Australian Rockers  AIRBOURNE are set to heat it up. Manchester is the 3rd date of their "Breaking Outta' Hell" UK tour, and they are bringing more power than ever with the support of THE WILD! and PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS. Outside the venue you can see denim jacket-clad fans in AIRBOURNE merch who can't wait to get a pint and listen to some Heavy Metal.

First on stage are Canadian rockers THE WILD! - bouncing on to the stage full of energy to the filling venue; they are fronted by the charismatic vocalist Dylan Villian - a man who really knows how to use his incredible highs and growling lows, and how to work with killer riffs.

THE WILD! Are certainly a band to look out for if they come to a venue near you, and are a must listen for fans of bands such as VOLBEAT, MASSIVE and THE DEAD DAISIES.

Keeping in with the theme of killer riffage, PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS take to the stage. A perfect sub-headliner for AIRBOURNE, they are pure Rock 'n' Roll with an old school twist and new energy; for any band that has a member of MOTORHEAD (Guitarist Phil Campbell) are bound to be killer live and they prove that right. The band's vocalist Neil Starr is a classic front man in terms of immense vocals and persona.

Their set – which includes the classics like "Silver Machine" and "The Ace Of Spades" - gets the whole academy bouncing on their feet no matter their age - an exciting surprise for those who've never seen the band before.

PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS are pure heaviness and are a must listen.

Back and bigger than ever, the almighty AIRBOURNE hit the stage to a packed out Manchester Academy, opening up with "Ready To Rock" and following with a constant flow of fan favourites. Vocalist Joel O Keefe and his band of hard rockers prove why they have a reputation for being energetic bad boys, for riding over the crowd and smashing cans on your head is only something that AIRBOURNE could get away with.

Tracks like "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" and "Breakin Outta Hell" get the crowd riled up but it's show closer "Runnin' Wild" that really gets the fans bouncing. The only way to describe this band is by saying that MOTORHEAD and AC/DC had a musical love child and pumped it full of beers and catchy songs.

It is impossible to hate this band and even seeing only one of their songs live is enough to get you hooked.
