At last! LORD 13's debut album - which was initially released last year - is being released again through the Greek label Burning Star Records and will have the worldwide promotional campaign it deserves! For all of you who don't know shit about this band better check their official site, attend one of their live performances and witness these punks kicking the living shit out of you with their whiskey soaked tunes!

Athenian act LORD 13 was formed back in 1999 and immediately managed to build a good fame about its great live performances. The band has supported great names like CATHEDRAL, HAWKWIND, NEBULA, ORANGE GOBLIN, LOS NATAS and many more. As you may have already realized we are dealing with a Heavy Rock monster here!

The Stoner/Southern Rock act has only this release in its discography (and two demo CD's), but this release alone is enough to prove the band's dynamic and incredible abilities. The band's music is a classic mixture of Heavy Rock, explosive groovy parts and psychedelic tunes that create a Rock & Roll feeling that travels you somewhere on a long and lonely road (on a bike). LORD 13 are with no doubt one of the best Greek (and maybe European) Stoner bands and now that I think about it, they strongly remind me (musically) of MONSTER MAGNET. Even Jim's vocals are similar to Wyndorf's.

One extra hint about the band is that its bassist Dee makes custom bikes. I would love to have this man make me a chopper one day! Anyway, the only negative thing about this album is its crappy sound, which unfortunately will not hide under the cult tag from me. If the sound was better, the rating would also be higher (+1).

PS: Badwater Booze is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard from a Greek band! You rule guys!
