Left Arm Over - EP - DEMO album cover

The land down under strikes again. After reviewing the magnificent new album by Black Steel, I managed to came across this EP. Of course Left Arm Over have nothing to do with Black Steel (ha ha) but they are good, considering this is their first piece of work.
Left Arm Over's lineup consists of two brothers, Trent and Kevin Stuart. Though those two have been members of many bands (Forehead, Vision Opus) in their local scene and have jammed for a while, this EP is their first recorded attempt.
Well, this two person lineup doesn't seem to cause any problems, it's not that they play some kind of high technical virtuoso type of music. Basically they are a stoner / modern Rock act (one can decode this even by the bands they mention in their biography). With a running time of no more than 15 minutes, these four compositions can be considered interesting and quite FM friendly. Definitely not my cup of tea but good in general. I picked Milton out of the bunch as the most bizarre in this release.
Nothing left to say since this is not my field of expertise. They will probably manage to grab a contract by one of those new Rock labels out there and I don't see the reason not doing so. They sounded quite mature to my ears.
