Aeon Of Rust

It has been a while since a Black Metal release reached my hands. Agonia Records is here once again to provide me with an album that will spit its antichristian and blasphemous poison through my CD player's speakers. I just hope Aeon Of Rust will be a raw and brutal Black Metal album since I have been bored of the shitty melodic stuff lately...
The German blacksters have just released their second full-length album through Agonia Records. Their really good debut album Golgotha - which made them known in the underground scene - was also released through Agonia and the band is here to show that it is more mature and ready to kick some ass.
Their music is mostly based on the 90's raw Black Metal scene. Aeon Of Rust will definitely offer you some coldness and grimness, just like the one you have when you listen to bands like DARK FUNERAL and KATHARSIS. Their sound touches the Swedish Black Metal scene from time to time, giving their music the brutality it needs to get away from the DARKTHRONE style monotonous riffing the band uses. Kvaahl's vocals are filthy, which means the perfect for this kind of music. The production is also one more positive thing, since KAPEIN have chosen to walk away from the buried and shitty sound and dress their sophomore effort into a more clear, yet raw veil.
If you are a fan of noisy and raw Black Metal, then you should definitely check these guys out! Don't think that you will find any groundbreaking elements that take the Black Metal scene one step further. The only thing that you will find in Aeon Of Rust, is approximately 34 minutes of good, cold and blasphemous Metal.
