Infernal Curse - Revelations Beyond Insanity album cover

Sometimes Extreme Metal can be so good it heals with its black art. If you are on the ropes,
INFERNAL CURSE may be just the toxin for what ails your empty soul. Just a fuckton of misanthropy, brutal riffs, and all the metal you can eat. INFERNAL CURSE is a Black/Death Metal trio out of Buenos Aires, Argentina. They have been at it since 2008 and have five EPs, several splits, two live albums, and, as of June 23, 2023, three full-length albums. Their latest abomination, "Revelations Beyond Insanity," comes at us through none other than Iron Bonehead. It is 29:07 of sheer Metal bliss.

"Revelations Beyond Insanity" kicks off with Hammond dungeon organ action which quickly descends into two-fisted, horns up carnage at the 1:02 mark. From there on out, this album utterly destroys. Coming in at 29 minutes and six tracks, "Revelations Beyond Insanity" might as well be an EP except for the fact that while it is short on duration, it is long on damage. Throw on your best headsets because you'll want to soak every db. That and depending on the structural integrity of your home, you may bring down the roof-or raise the Underdark.

It may be a South American thing, but there is definite groove inlaid in these tracks. Not Psych, but definitely some hyper tempo Doom. Thanatos and Bestial Offensor stack up an indelible rhythm section that alternates between slashing and bludgeoning with Nocturnal searing through with tremolo riffage, acid-laced solos, and demonic vocals.

Best tracks? Don't even. Just all of them. Every. Single. One. Not going to waste many words on this one. Just head to Bandcamp, Iron Bonehead, or your favorite purveyor of wicked vinyl and secure a copy of "Revelations Beyond Insanity" post-haste. This album takes no prisoners and affords no mercy.
