INIMICAL is a Danish band that was established during November 2005. The first demo Room No.13 was out the previous year with Peter, Michael, on vocals with Adam Frandsen and with Flemming Andersen. Later we have the arrival of Morten and the departure of Adam and Flemming with result in the cancellation of concerts and the delay for a new studio recording. Now, this is their second demo, Lambs To The Slaughter with four tracks inside.
As written in their bio, their music is between hardcore and death metal. That is true. Major influence is hardcore bands like THE HAUNTED together with the powerful volume guitars of ENTOMBED. In their second track, Knife I can also see NAPALM DEATH in ultra fast parts. Lambs To The Slaughter and Knife won my attention.
So, things are easy. If you like THE HAUNTED and bands like them I believe you should give them a chance. No, you have to give them a chance.
Also, I think they can easily have a contract for two reasons. First, this sound is popular now and second many companies - especially in the USA, but also in Europe - search for and sign bands much worst than INIMICAL. Last info is that they have a new drummer Jesper Bonnesen.
