Infernal Majesty - One Who points To Death album cover

One of the most historical bands of the underground Death/Thrash scene is back. Of course I mean none other than the Canadian, Infernal Majesty. This horde started its musical adventure in 1986 and six years after their last studio album, Unholier Than Thogue (1988) they've returned to smash ours ears with their fourth studio album, One Who Points To Death.
To be honest I heaven't heard all of their past releases but I do listen to a lot of Canadian Trash Metal. This album is mostly Death Metal with some strong Thrash influences. The drumming is very fast and even though I've heard a lot of their riffs on other Death Metal bands too, that doesn't really bother me, I don't care.
The results of this combination are good. Yes of course I mean good for all the Death Metal fans but not that good for all the Thrashers (just kidding). Best songs for me on this album are Death Of Heaven which is a pure Thrash metal song (!) and Honey Tongue Of Satan. I think that its a good album overall and quite enjoyable.
We must have respect for bands like Infernal Majesty as they keep the Metal flame alive!!!
