Cryptivore - Celestial Extinction album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: CRYPTIVORE; signed via Bitter Loss Records, hailing from Australian grounds - performing Death Metal/Grindcore, on the debut full-length studio album entitled: "Celestial Extinction" (released February 1st, 2022). Since formation in 2015; the soloist in question has a Demo entitled: "Unseen Divinity", and this here debut full-length studio album in their discography so far entitled: "Celestial Extinction" of which I am introduced to. 10 tracks ranging around 27:04; CRYPTIVORE arranges an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Death Metal/Grindcore amalgamations.

Opening up with this rampantly rompy groove "Cocoon Hetacomb" unleashes a blistering barrage frenzy in wildly rushing remedy that steamrolls with trailblazing mayhem, stampeding with gnarly adrenaline and amplified crispness as sturdy thuds tremble speakers with sonically seamless reverberation amongst a dexterously dynamic crunch in killer grinds while rambunctiously thumpy stompiness belts a clobbering foundation in punchy weight from consisting soloist Chris Anning who performs on everything, amazingly well with talented potential to boot. "Dripping With Skin" flamboyantly forges a monolithic spectrum of tempos that skyrocket with volatile vehemence, utilising versatile swerve which bludgeons eardrums with tight stability - synergised with malevolent oppression while striking pursuits rip you a new one with rollicking frolicks and galloping chugginess. "Vault Of Obscurity" diabolically surges with monstrous pandemonium, ruthlessly slabbing solid yet sulphurous rhythms which progressively rampage with technical swiftness amongst a bombarding but symbolically maniacal towering of barbaric domination.

Endowing you with primitively raw manifestations; "Gate Of Dismal Torture" slays with bulldozing extremity, as fierce firepower expertise demonstrates a concretely gritty heft on piercing heft as bombing meltdowns ramify with distinctive chunkiness that showcase snarly scours & motoring havoc in which will make one want to break chairs over other chairs in no time. "The Ethereal Deceased" has a doomy but cavernous fever embedded; until more speedy revs euphonically distil a boisterous but experimental conundrum in hybrid deadliness that will unravel through your soul with spectral waves of contorted hostility and chaos. "Monastery Worms" strifes with strident breakdowns and rapidly nimble viscerality, viciously tremoring with melodic riffs & organic substance while raspy throatiness barks ferociously into a bellowing flair of grunty growls and guttural malice.

"Solemn Desolation" distributes with more vibrantly potent zeal; pulversing you with smacking perseverance which persists with relentless waves of otherworldly calamity, crafting a distinguished grandeur in demolishing harmony. Especially profound with the titular track "Clandestine Ruination" while more thrashy mechanics within "Cadaverizor" both arm a brimming dose in fluidly polished momentum & tactical maelstrom deathliness as a heady hook grips you with bestial bashfulness. Until the overall concluding banger of the titular track swamps systems with materialised beefiness; bottom line, I am compelled to say that CRYTIVORE was most surely a discovery that my Death Metal/Grindcore needs were definitely fulfilled with. "Celestial Extinction" marks merits with radically wicked yet flexibly fundamental attributes in adroit but creative finesse and enjoyably entertaining listens that marvels with elementary implementations profusely & robustly, certainly a soloist who should be a proud monastery with this creation in his own merits. An all guns blazing crescendo in firing all cylinders production on tremolo impact serves these subgenres greatly and deserves every credit, definitely a record that needs spinning & replaying a good bunch of times, do check it out.
