Classic Hard Rock is a genre that arose in the 70's, as a child of what DEEP PURPLE, URIAH HEEP and others helped to create. WHITESNAKE helped to improve things, bringing to the genre a commercial approach, in a way that even those who aren't into Rock 'n' Roll. And SIGN X, a German quintet from Hamburg (a city with strong and deep roots in Metal) is coming to be presented to the world with "Like a Fire". They play a modern way of Classic Hard Rock, with the same old elements from the past, but with a new energy and shaped to fit in this time. It's heavy and has that old feeling (kept with the help of the keyboards' parts), but with catchy melodies created by guitars and a heavy work from the rhythmic session, and the vocals are great as well. And it's catchy and accessible energy is really amazing!

Andy Horn (the same one who worked previously with EDENBRIDGE and ROB HALFORD) produced, mixed and mastered the songs of "Like a Fire", making them sound modern and heavy, but clean as well. And the organic feeling that can be felt comes from the instrumental tunes used during the recording sessions. Yes, everything is working in a great way! All the songs of "Like a Fire" are amazing, a Hard Rock with German Rock trademark features, so be prepared. And the amazing energy that comes from "Fall" (great chorus, and excellent vocals and keyboards), the Classic Rock approach used on "Elements" and on "Storm" (this one bears great bass guitar and drums playing), the mix between modern weight with catchy melodies from the past shown on "Shine", the accessible and powerful "Free Your Mind" (that is closer to earlier Glam Metal sound due its heavier crush), and the catchy elements presented on "Sign" are the best ones for a first time on their musical work.
