WISHING WELL is a band from Finland that will light a fire under one's pants and get one up and moving. Their album "Rat Race" begins with the song "Wheeling And Dealing" and it is a hard-driving song with great guitar. It is loud, fast and dare I say ferocious. One can totally head bang to this song and still want to rock out more to it. It is a great way to start an album.

"Sleepless Nights" will not have one sleeping with a riveting guitar beginning that feels very eerie. It would be good for an entrance to a graveyard. Then it goes right into a speed of surprise which matches well with the guitar and the drums. There are good vocals, good guitars and good drums. The guitar solo is one to be reckoned with. It is a very strong and well played solo. "Rat Race" is the fifth track as well as the title track. A thrilling ride at the beginning and going into Hard Core Metal. It will be added to many playlist. The ride begins with a fierce guitar and spectacular drums. A hard-core fantasy come to life. It is a song that one will want to hear again and again.

"A Little Dream" has a beautiful beginning with a soft start to a beautiful song. It is an instrumental that will impress anyone. It is simply lovely. This is a favorite and going onto playlist. "You Can't Keep A Good Man Down" is true. The song is a standout on this album. The intro is wonderful and hard. This is a good thing. It is what anyone expects in a Metal song. This is good. The vocals are great and will surprise many. It sounds different than some of the other songs on this album. If looking for a song that will make one love metal again, then look no further. This is good Metal.

The album "Rat Race" is hard and soft. It offers a little something for everyone and that is beautiful. Altogether it is well composed and thoughtful. Some songs are harsh while others are softer. The instrumental is a wonderful surprise next to harder Metal. This album makes sense. It is all good.
