I always admire bands such as KILL INFECTION, despite what a band has to offer genre-wise. The reason is the country they're from. It's obvious that not everyone can always afford instruments and just "go out and play" since some might have religious issues, or instances where other people may not be accepting of what they want to play, and a lot more reasons. The following band can be categorized into the Indonesian Brutal Death Metal scene. Originally hailing from Pamekasan, Madura islands, the band has been active since 2016 and 2017 marks the release of their debut five-track EP "Misanthropic of Sakera".

The EP came out on February 22^nd, via Limited Blasting Production, which is a label that specializes in the genre that this band plays in. It all starts with the instrumental,"Misanthropic of Sakera", which seems to be a title-track. The intro is 'okay' and combines traditional elements from where the guys are from, voices in the background and some heavy riffs towards the very end of the song. "Renggut Nyawa" shows perfect vocalization, with really brutal, low-tuned growl-oriented vocals. The riffs remain a bit monotone (too similar to the previous song) but I like the production and the overall atmosphere of the classic, typical, Indonesian Brutal and Slam Death Metal bands. "Siklus Mati" is the third song, and I can't not to notice how the band tries to do their best in remaining original considering how many bands there are from that region. These guys try to keep their riffs a bit "technical" and not just overall Slam-oriented. "Simbiosis Parasitism" is once again a brutal song, featuring some classic elements of this very messed up Death Metal subgenre, reminding us of the old-school methods from the late nineties. "Carok" is the last song, and I still can't complain.

This band really knows their job, and it mostly consists of packing a serious punch of massive, energetic Brutal Death Metal at its very finest. Give them a listen.
