It goes to show you really don't have to look far to find talent, most of the time it is right on your doorstep right under our very noses. The recent band to fit this description is Portsmouth born Alternative Rock trio NOVELLAS and they will launching a Double A Side with two prominent singles.

 NOVELLAS made their live debut last April, they spent their first eight months averaging a gig every nine days and playing in many cities as they could. That is a lot of gigs. During this they gradually appeared in magazines, festivals and radio shows. In December 2015 they recorded their debut singles at Brighton Electric where greats like THE CURE and NICK CAVE had material recorded. They will be releasing these two singles on a Double A Side on this Friday 19^th February in the form of a launch gig happening at Drift in Southsea.

These singles seem to be very well produced considering where the record was made; their sound is very ambient and haunting. The sound is very similar to ARTIC MONKEYS and ARCADE FIRE that will sit very well with fans of Hard Rock and Alternative.

"Foolish" gets off to an extremely promising start and carries with that polished sound throughout. The song is incredibly memorable; the serene positive vibe keeps the listener alert and attentive. "Doubt" has a mellower vibe about it yet the same happy go lucky vibe that NOVELLA seem to produce in their sound.

After listening to these songs and with praise from BBC Introducing it's evident that they are not a band that should be missed, there is some amazing talent within this trio and these songs should sound brilliant live when they perform their launch this Friday at The Drift in Southsea, UK.
