SEIN ZUM TODE's "Circus" Metal from Columbia, South Carolina. Okay...this is a strange one. But what should I have expected? If you add a totally unheard of genre before, then you're going to use The Rock's raised eye-brow... "White Supremacheese" for example will do that. Is that even a word you say? Of course it isn't. But on topic...while SEIN ZUM TODE have the Metal in their grasp; they use it very oddly. It sounds good; but eh, I don't know.

They use circus-like themes obviously in the mix of using the brute force of Heavy Metal. Imagine at an actual circus with all the craziness going on and with the cherry on top - Metal noise blasting in the mix. Yeah, that's the basic but obvious idea of it. There's no way in hell this can be taken seriously but it is indeed humorous and definitely an original concept I'll give them that. What's crazy is - "Siamese Second Cousins Never Removed" ...weird title... ending in moments so I must have enjoyed it, right? I did...to an extent. Listening to this and writing at the same time; I couldn't help myself but chuckle a few times - with the cringe-worthy face of approval activated as well.

There are no vocals, just noise. I wonder if David Scott, Jon Scott, and Jamie Clark were on drugs or something while making this? "Manhandlin' The Lanolin" is where I started to just well...laugh and not really care about this attempt...If you want something to laugh at, however; SEIN ZUM TODE give you the ammo to do so, I'm pretty sure they're only doing this for fun but it's no serious attempt at making music...at least that's how I felt at the time. Oh, wait! There are some pretty brutal vocals in "Bifurious George Psycloney" but what does that "song" title even mean? This is the longest song on the EP, and if I'm brutally honest; it's just a bunch of noise. Almost on-par with the silliness of PAPA SHANGO who just seemed like a joke-act last I saw them Live, but there is nothing wrong with that if it's solely for Live performances.

Not much else to say...this was my most hilarious review to date. While I enjoyed it for the most part; "Siamese Second Cousins Never Removed" was nothing more than a "what the fuck?" kind of entry. While I see the humor of it in Live acts - I wouldn't jam this seriously unless I was at a party while everyone was taking drugs and getting insanely drunk whilst going insane to this. I don't know, maybe I'm overreacting and it's actually good? You decide.
