SILENTLIE is a female fronted Gothic Metal band from Trieste in Italy. The band was formed in 2005, released two EPs: "Behind My Face" in 2008 and "Blood Under Snow" in 2013 and their debut full length album "Layers of Nothing" will be release on April 14th via Bakerteam Records.

I love "Dark Nights", because it has incredible modern melodic keys & riffs with catchy refrain and all of that in amazing climate. Another one song from this album I really love is "Slave" where guitars are stronger & lower in climate of JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH and SAXON. Also tempting vocal of vocalist Giorgia Sacco Taz is beautiful. Amazing rhythmic section cooperates perfectly with lovely memorable chorus. After first listening of "We Are Wolves" you could be sure that you fall in love with this one where nice drum solo & keys are opening it. Fantastic climate with catchy sounds create memorable chorus with choir and keys. Brilliant guitar solo and powerful bass are totally awesome!

Opener "Unbreakable" has fantastic keys in modern style like in AMARANTHE, powerful drums, many energy and gorgeous singing if vocalist, such power like DORO has. Catchy refrain with impressive choir inside. All in all, I am impressed by these sounds where chorus is so powerful with modern sounds and also brilliant guitar solo. Heavier riffs with nice piano in "Invisible Fall" together with melodic sounds and changeable rate sounds fine with nice memorable chorus and also Gothic echoes in HIM style.

Titled track "Layers of Nothing" has nice middle tempo inside with stronger rocking guitars and fine melody, violins which give interesting climate to this song and melodic singing by vocalist. Also little rebel sounds are noticeable too. Catchy modern style is in "The Worst Enemy" where are keys in dark style and true rock in way of playing guitars with melody refrain.

Piano opens the track "My Scream Is Silence" where are also fabulous heavier riffs & melodic chorus. "Anger" has different style, because it has acoustic guitars in the beginning and after a melodic chorus with heavier guitars and clear rhythmic section with incredible guitar solo! "Change" has lower-pitched, melodic riffs and nice catchy chorus with Giorgia's emotional voice. Here is feeling older climate of Rock and BLACK SABBATH style. Also what a brilliant guitar solo again!

SILENTLIE has record very good debut album. Album "Layers of Nothing" consist of lively played songs.  Songwriting and production this album is almost perfect in every way. Band play very good, dynamic and energetic Gothic Metal with influences Melodic Hard Rock. They present great music, a good work, catchy melodies, excellent technique and a production on a high level. They seems to be experienced musicians. I keep my fingers crossed for them, because they are almost perfect in this what they do and what they play. These Italian Metallers play with passion and I know that one day their name will be heard. Highly recommended to every female fronted Metal band!
