DANGER ANGEL is band from Athens, Greece. The band has been running about since 2006 and consists of five musicians forging melodic Hard Rock. DANGER ANGEL released its debut album in 2010. Produced by legendary singer Jeff Scott Soto and mixed & mastered by John Ellis of Prism Sound Studios, DANGER ANGEL follow a new direction of sound and music with the new, second, album "Revolutia".

It seemed to me that every song on this CD was meticulously made. I especially liked "Not An Angel" with amazing keys, bass line and stronger riffs that build a mysterious and interesting atmosphere, it sticks around for a while, catchy chorus with pouring out melody, brilliant sounds, great guitar solo played by Ethan Snow and a great rhythm section, bass played by Rudy Rallis synchronizing pretty well with drums played by Tony V.. "When I'm Gone", where there are melodies, AOR oriented, highly catchy chorus filled with harmonies and bright keyboards. "Falling" displays a fine piano intro that reminded me of H.I.M. but rapidly changed into heavier moments that laid the path for a chorus to remember. Vocalist M.T. has a melodic voice with lots of power. Each little particle of sound is on perfect position. On "Decadence" there is a close proximity to DEF LEPPARD and BON JOVI, I could notice the sounds of 80s guitars demonstrating sheer melodic riffs, choir type singing, similar to AOR, an impressive guitar solo enhanced by a brilliant solo of keyboards played by AHAS. Just feel the energy & power! "My Last Day On Earth" has a great sound with well written lyrics and a high caliber melody in the chorus, a killer.

Also worth to be mentioned are: "One Hit In The Night", "Don't Die Young" with full of life, "Dead By Christmas" with a Punkish attitude, pretty cheery, "I'm Not Here" with elements of electronics, energy & melody like THE POODLES and the lofty "King Of Thieves" with incredible energetic riffs.

DANGER ANGEL has various of potential hits. Every song has a new idea; each and every one is different. The engineering of the sound produced an enjoyable listener. It is possible that every fan of melodic Hard Rock, especially in the spirit 80s with a little bit of the modern touch like ECLIPSE, W.E.T., JEFF SCOTT SOTO, even BON JOVI and DEF LEPPARD. Right after my first session with it, it became a favorite.
