Primeval Cult Of Strength In The Womb Of Suffer

Kingdom

Even though most of the time you can’t understand what Death Metal bands are grunting about, KINGDOM makes it even harder by using their mother tongue when vomiting their lyrics through my speakers. And I applaud that, as it does make it easier for the artist to properly express what they intend to say. Or in this case, grunt.

We at METAL TEMPLE are in desperate need of writers who are proficient and knowledgeable in the Deth Metal department, as most of the albums in our urgent file are of bands in that genre. But, as we all try and help where possible, you do have to pick and choose one for yourself, even if you are not the biggest fan. Hey, I do enjoy some Death Metal from time to time, so let's see if the Polish band KINGDOM can get me excited about their endeavours on "Primeval Cult Of Strength In The Womb Of Suffer". I was quite surprised to find out that even though this is the first time I have encountered them myself, they have been around since 2003. Plus, that this current album is already their seventh studio album to date, to be released on 26 September 2025. And even though most of the time you can't understand what Death Metal bands are grunting about, KINGDOM makes it even harder by using their mother tongue when vomiting their lyrics through my speakers. And I applaud that, as it does make it easier for the artist to properly express what they intend to say. Or in this case, grunt. And if you think that KINGDOM is taking it easy on you, forget it. This is Old School Death Metal, with a drummer that really loves using a lot of double bass and blastbeats. So, no rest for the wicked. And the guitars and bass are layered on top of all of those frantic beats, giving their amplifiers and speakers a real work out. And even though they might ga really fast from time to time, you can sense the level of experience in the band by being able to distinguish every hit of the drummer, every riff from the guitarists and every note from the vocalist (I won't call him a singer…). The songs on "Primeval Cult Of Strength In The Womb Of Suffer" are all in the same vein, all have the same kind of feel and atmosphere. That does add to the coherency of the album, but it also exposes KINGDOM as not being very varied in their musical outlet. But the band parries that shortcoming by using different speeds and levels of intensity. And it works, because as the album only takes 37:47 minutes I'm actually okay with that. If you are one of those who really likes good Old School Death Metal then I shall say that I feel that you can't go wrong with KINGDOM and "Primeval Cult Of Strength In The Womb Of Suffer".
