Ignite the Skies
Space Chaser

Today, it’s a known strategy to use singles to spread the band’s name (or to keep them alive in a long time between two full-lengths), and to independent acts, it lows the costs of all the recordings works. Maybe SPACE CHASER is trying to pave the way to their next full-length with their latest Single, “Ignite the Skies”. The level of the sound quality is high, with everything on their due places, with fine instrumental tunes. It seems that the mixing and mastering were done wisely and with time, because everything is nearing perfection. It means that it’s impossible to not understand what’s being expressed by the quartet.
The band focus its energies and efforts on a form of Thrash Metal that’s balancing fast speed, energy, melodies and aggressiveness, in a form the resembles the US Thrash Metal School, having acts as SLAYER on the days of “Show No Mercy”, EXODUS, METALLICA and TESTAMENT on their early releases. But pay attention: some modern improvements can be heard (as the double pass drumming in some moments), charming melodies during the chorus, but be prepared by a thrashing fury drilling into your ears.
“Ignite the Skies” is a song with an excellent balance between aggressiveness and melodies, with fine shreds on the guitar leads, fine choruses, technical riffs, thunderous bass guitar and drums parts’, and charming melodic vocals and backing vocals. The song itself leaves no spaces for deeper criticism, because it’s an excellent piece of Thrash Metal, indeed. After listening to “Ignite the Skies”, one can ask why in the blazes SPACE CHASER didn’t release a full-length by now (their last one was on 2021, “Give Us Life”)! The fans deserve more of their music!
