Well, today the stand-up comedy shows are popular in many different ways and countries. People must laugh as well, we all need it, or we all will be crazy (the pose of serious people is just another way to use a mask, it does not exist). Comedies are just for laughing, not to be taken seriously, and again Don Jamieson is here to make us laugh a lot with his famous (and infamous) jokes with Metal with “No Sleep ‘Til Mcsorley’s”. It was recorded live at McSorely Ale House (a comedy shows must be recorded in such way, you know) on 9/24/23, “No Sleep ‘Til McSorely’s” has a very good sonority, so it’s not hard to understand what is being said by Don, so be prepared by laugh yourself to puke your bellies out (or let them leave by another way).

As a live album (even if “No Sleep ‘Til McSorely’s” can’t be classified as such thing in the hard sense of the term), this release must be from the beginning to its end. And it’s clear that Don isn’t politically or not politically correct, it’s just humor! Take the best that is laugh and laugh more until you drop! The intro has Phil Campbell presenting Don (it’s not a coincidence the joke with “No Sleep ‘Til Hammersmith” cover), and it’s impossible to not laugh and have fun on moments as “Intro, Hangovers for the Homeless, Vices”, “Drunk X-Mas, My Pillow, Vagina Candle”, “Gwyneth Gang Bang, Phony Celebrities”, “Orgasm Marathon, BBM, Explosive Balls”, “NYC Rats, Movie’ on Up”, “Au Natural, Only Fans, Pregnant Men”, “Funny & Afraid, Dangerous Jobs, PC Staff”, “Leprechauns, Pronouns, Vikings”, “Ancestry, New Tyranny, Nipples”, “White Fragility, Indian Summer, Eskimo Pie”, “Hate Crime, Stolen Election, A Presidential X-Mas”, “Faith in Rock & Roll, Music Is the Healer, Monsters of Rock”, and “Androgynous Alice, Less Voluptuous Lizzy, Hit Me With Your Best Shot”, and it’s great as Don is spontaneous during the show.

If you have the fragile concept of Metal as a ‘serious thing’, “No Sleep ‘Til Mcsorley’s” will tear you conception to pieces. And Don must release a DVD or anything in video for that!
