The US based Traditional Heavy Metal band, HOLY GRAIL, is and will, in time, the local heroes and saviours of their local Metal scene. Since 2008, these have been sparkling what was left of the might of the US Metal scene, all was for them back then was to receive recognition. Now, in 2010, after a great EP and a single of a great song that will also be featured later on, HOLY GRAIL released their debut scream to the world in the image of "Crisis In Utopia".

Right from the first minute and till the glory end, I was crazed by the band's fluidity throughout the release, there is never a dull moment, and there is always movement as if it is like a trip through the classic years of Metal. NWOBHM, Doom, Power, Thrash ala the 80's move fast as the riffs come crashing down under the command of a flawless production, modern, but with orientation to the classic Metal years. I can provide you tons of bands that can be similar to this beast; however, there is not enough room to enter them all because of the band's dynamic nature.

HOLY GRAIL's music is in a way simple (not too simple), an element that helped them keep their songs flowing, yet, they knew just how to integrate a sweet collection of interesting melodic passages that might build an impression, which was positively based later on, that there is more than just shuffling power chords all night long. "Crisis In Utopia" display another finer moment of how the American scene is trying to get out of the 90's mud and into something stronger and wilder, Just as it was in the 80's. The album's super tracks as "Fight To Kill", "Immortal Man", "Hollow Ground", "My Last Attack", "Call Of Valhalla" and "Cherish Disdain" will surely be sending you to the picket line to have a crack with this album.

Formed by three ex-members of the another rising US Metal band, WHITE WIZZARD, diverse vocalist, James Paul Luna (I would have tied him to lamp post if I was in WHITE WIZZARD), dread guitarist James J.LaRue, massive drummer Tyler Meahl along with two new members, Eli Santana & Blake Mount, this group will certainly go far if they will keep their current form. "Crisis In Utopia" is a full load of madness into the shores of 80's Classic Metal.
