ZX Spectrum - Optimistic Views album cover

People compare us to CARCASS, but that's probably because we sound like nothing else they've ever heard, says ZX SPECTRUM vocalist Kosta. Get a life, is what Metal Temple's editor Yiannis D. says...

The band was founded in Latvia in 2000 and have released two more demo CD's, one in 2004 and one in 2005. This is their third demo release and as it seems these guys still haven't found their own musical path.

Since I am a huge CARCASS fan and I will not tolerate people using their name in vain. I am not trying to insult ZX SPECTRUM of course, but it is not serious to say that whoever compares you to CARCASS is wrong, especially when you sound more like a CARCASS cover band. This demo CD could easily be a release with songs that never made it into Swansong (for obvious reasons).

I don't see the reason why I should spend more time on a band that is underestimating its abilities. These guys show that they have potential to do something good, but instead they spend their time playing something that is really far from being characterized unique. Find your own sound people!!!
