Boston-based blackened technical melodic death metal prodigies Unflesh recently announced their debut record, Savior. Set for release on Friday, May 25th. Savior will strongly appeal to fans of Arsis, Dissection, Necrophagist, Naglfar, Emperor, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Obscura, Dimmu Borgir, Alterbeast, and Revocation. Prepare yourselves for devastating brilliance born of duality, Unflesh has arcane mastery over multiple realms of death metal and black metal fused sonic sorcery.

Prior to the upcoming release of Savior, Unflesh put out Transcendence To Eternal Obscurity in 2016, a well-received six-song EP that featured session drums from Alkaloid/ex-Obscura genius Hannes Grossman. After it's release, Unflesh took on a full band line-up, began to play live shows, and work towards the release of their newly announced upcoming album, Savior. Today the group partnered with Toilet Ov Hell to launch the albums first single, "Bestowal Of Decay".

Comments Toilet Ov Hell on the premiere of "Bestowal Of Decay"
"Unflesh serves not only as the band's name, but as the perfect descriptor of their music. It rips, it slices, it cuts straight to the bone; this is some of the most vicious blackened tech death I've heard in some time. They take the melodic sensibility of Arsis and filter it through the technical attack of Enfold Darkness and the extended range proficiency of Revocation; those are some lofty comparisons, but they are well-earned."

"The band's 2016 EP, Transcendence to Eternal Obscurity, was already a pretty hefty work of tech death (due in no small part to Hannes Grossmann's intense drum performance), but they seek to top it in every respect on Saviors. "Bestowal of Decay" shows that they're serious about it; it's faster, more technical, and covers a far wider range of the fretboard in one song than anything they've done previously, but it's also catchier and more melodic."

*Stay tuned for more Unflesh news, early singles, and reviewers promos to launch in the coming weeks.
