Here's an interesting case of demo review. We,The Gods does not exist anymore! This demo was given to me by the band's vocalist, Richard, that happens to be the vocalist in the amazing band called Her Enchantment. So this review mostly works as an archive deal... go to your friends and say hey, I know this cool band that doesn't exist anymore so you can feel proud in front of their ignorance (laughs).
We, The Gods (one of the most modest names I have heard for a band!) based on Holland deliver a mixture of atmospheric metal / gothic metal with both clean and brutal vocals. Melody based and not so riff oriented most of the time creates a good mood. There are some bursts of energy (in songs like Effete God for example) but in general the material in this demo moves is mid tempo rhythms. In my opinion the most representative song is See-ers that pretty much contains all the elements one could find in We, The Gods music.
The production is quite good and the demo was factory printed, thumbs up! In conclusion this was a rather interesting piece of work and I strongly believe that this band had credentials for a full length release.
