Beyond the Stars is a long progressive piece out of the album " Vanishing Lines " by Moonshine Oversight. The lyrics question the universe's immensity and the place of Man in it. The track mixes tight rhythm parts and weird melodies to create an aural journey.

After a short intro, the travel starts with an acoustic and atmospheric verse with soothing guitar echoes in the distance. Then the chorus starts with energy and determination, backed by a bewitching melody that will remain the common theme all along the song. The different sequences lead to a technical and emotional guitar solo. From this point, the song turns to something different : first, a harsh part with a sharp and refined riff. Then things turn out to be hypnotic and even psychedelic. The journey ends up with a last chorus, letting the melody fade away towards silence.
