Deathbound Records is excited to announce the signing of New York's Chasmbound.

Inspired mainly by black metal and post-hardcore, the band came to life in late 2014. With the determination to release loud, honest and creative music, Chasmbound is above all a very ambitious artistic project that far exceeds the sum of its influences.

Sourpop, the band's upcoming album, was written during the winter of 2014-2015 in a cold and dreary New York apartment. The lyrics take heavy influence from the city and each track is intended to be a scene set in a metropolis. The album's title was meant to characterize the sound of the record. Sourpop was produced and engineered by Jaime Marcelo and mastered by Garry Brents and set to be released through Deathbound Records in early 2016.
