Rat Lord – Blazed In The Northern Sky
September 28, 2024
Marketing geniuses that they are, RAT LORD adorns all their album covers with a kitten. I have to admit, it works. I was drawn to the album by the kitten, I was then compelled by the hilarious song titles, but I stayed for the riffs.

Necrocene - Detrimental Paratomy

I don’t need gargle bargle in crystal clear 4k hi-def quality. I need it real, genuine, and ugly.

DD Verni - Dreadful Company
August 13, 2024
DD VERNI is hitting everything on the head with a vengeance. He is taking no prisoners. If you dopn't understand what he is soinging you are lacking the basic knowledge of the English language. Not one word is too difficult to grasp, and he is making sure you know what he means. On top of that he is playing everything himself, except for the drums and some guest guitarists. That makes “Dreadul Company” even more impressive in my book.

Ivy Gardens – Goon
July 15, 2024
“Goon” by IVY GARDENS. Pretty cool stuff. I like the inventiveness of it. I could use some more despair or a splash of Satan or something to dampen the light, but I appreciate that not all metal has to be sinister and dark. Definitely worth checking out.

Crawl - Altar of Disgust
May 6, 2024
All in all, this is a hugely urgent album that does a lot in a small amount of time—every second drips with absolute venom. If you like death metal or any music with a lot of energy and an attitude that is 100% against the grain, CRAWL’s “Altar Of Disgust” is the album you need.

Grunk - Tales from the Stupidity Vortex
November 16, 2023
If you're a fan of the more extreme side of the metal spectrum, have a penchant for sonic sodomy, and cream yourself over people abusing their instruments and themselves, you'll love GRUNK. This album is going to pound you harder than a Tory gangbang.
