Mark "Agalaz" - (Obscurity)
August 28, 2021
At times it is more than meets the eye, nothing as it really seems, what is laying there before you isn't really what it should be rather a picture of symbolism. To be a counter to something doesn't mean being an enemy, being the other side, doesn't always mean the evil that be. Similar to the fact that a client is not always right, so does the social structure of our society. That is the reason why there are different opinions. The long running Osbcurity provided their own vision on the endless philosophical conflict of what is right with their new album, "Skogarmaors". Steinmetal had the pleasure of talking with the band's veteran, Mark, also known as Agalaz, about the new prospect and the in depth meaning of the music and record

Aku Kytölä - (Prestige)
August 23, 2021
Certainly dust removal was at the house, the unveiling of the wicked from that aggressive past that didn't take no for an answer or pitying the prisoners. History surely brings back a lot of its underground heroes straight out of slumber and into the newly found present. The Finnish Thrash Metal band, Prestige, hasn't been for a while, probably a little more than two decades so to speak. Performing here and there, but not creating isn't a sealed in stone comeback. Nonetheless, when they treat with such a record as "Reveal The Ravage", the heat turned up a notch. Steinmetal reconvened once again with Aku Kytölä about his returning to the Thrash Metal roots, alive and well, and with a purpose.

Saeko Kitamae - (Saeko)
August 22, 2021
Whether music or not, it is tough being a foreigner, even in countries where people let you feel as if you were back home. There is a lot of excitement sure, to be independent, on one's own will. However, it could be also a bumpy ride, a journey with plenty of obstacles that aren't that easy to overcome. Nonetheless, perseverance, motivation and conviction are only several of means in order to survive. The Japanese artist, Saeko, could have gone even bigger than she was in her last trip in Europe, coming from Japan strong and on top. After misfortunes along the way, she found what it takes to return, hopefully back to her rightful place in music and maybe beyond. With the coming of their new album, "Holy Are We Alone", a circle was completed and extended over a great conversation with Steinmetal
