For almost four decades Stryper has been singing about and praising God. They have had their mettle tested, and triumphed despite all adversity. They command the utmost respect not only for their musical accomplishments, but also for their passionate, heartfelt endurance. In fact you could say they are "The Mr. Rogers Of Metal", and that would be a solid compliment for all they have achieved through the years as soldiers of service. Stryper go against the law, but are still proud to wear their influence on their sleeves, because they are passionate about their art. With engaging conviction they honor Christ and his message and surrender to his higher will.The band reach out to their fans and always feel excited and pumped to put out new material. Honestly, their latest excellent effort - "Even The Devil Believes" is no exception.

Michael Francisco had the honor to speak to main songwriter, guitarist, lyricist, and superb vocalist Michael Sweet all about the new release. They discussed its miraculous chart positions and global success. They reflected on the health issues of Oz Fox, even when he and Michael  are able to shred wiith such searing solos. They also welcomed Perry Richardson from Firehouse and delighted over his subtle contributions to the song titles. Most importantly the free form conversation verified the way in which the honest and humble Michael Sweet endeavors to make love great again and how vital he is for the Mettle Milieu.
