interview
Bob Katsionis - (Wonders)
December 4, 2021
There is nothing better than keeping oneself busy. A busy bee has a lot going on, always on a lookout for additional projects, envisioning beyond limits and constantly wondering. The musician extraordinaire, Bob Kastionis, nearly saw everything in his life music wise, whether as a musician or a producer. Nonetheless, he never saw Wonders treading on his doorstep. Like a flash, he found a new venture, with people that he already knew, working on new ideas for a Power Metal adventure. The fruit of the group's labor resulted in "Fragments Of Wonder", an experience of the European Metal melody that is bound by glory and feels like victory. Steinmetal had to find out more about what Wonders are all about, Katsionis' perspective of the new album and more…

interview
Krista Shipperbottom - (LUTHARO)
November 30, 2021
It is not easy to describe the sound of
LUTHARO
, since all members have different influences. They are from
Hamilton
,
Ontario
and were formed in 2014. The release of their debut full-length album "
Hiraeth
" does not give more clarity, but it is safe to say that the album is influenced by melodic Death Metal, Power, and Thrash Metal. That was only one of the topics
Metal Temple
writer
Thomas Kumke
talked about with vocalist
Krista Shipperbottom
. There was a lot to discuss about the band history, the new album,
Krista
's way to become a growling vocalist, her inspirations, challenges of being an independent band, and
LUTHARO
's future plans.
interview
Samuel Cornelsen - (Count Raven)
November 29, 2021
And it just happened, after years of silence, the Swedish Doom Metal enthusiasts, Count Raven, are back in the fold. Was it under the radar or not? It doesn't really matter as their new album, "The Sixth Storm", was unleashed upon the worldwide Metal scene. Continuing their legacy of spirited Doom Metal, entrusted by old school values, Count Raven maintain their sound, and their presence. Atmosphere and heaviness unite, along with a voice that spreads far and wide, not really putting a focus on anything specific, leaving the listener to think about ideas and wonder thoughts as minutes of listening go by. Steinmetal had the chance to talk to Samuel Cornelsen, the new guy in the band, yet experienced musician, about the comeback and the album

Jo Henning Kaasin - (Kaasin)
November 21, 2021
"Surely, you can do better". That is an unforgettable line that is bound to survive the test of time, and "Don't call me Shirley", follows it. But that is not the reason why this comical edge resurfaced. Jo Henning Kassin knew that he has something in the mind that has to be out, and in a different format, and it was better than he ever did. Therefore, Kaasin was born and its debut album, "Fired Up" is an evidence, a token, a parcel of huge amounts of talent, dictating the bread and butter of Blues / Hard Rock. Steinmetal had the honors to chat with Mr. Kaasin about this new journey of exploration through the veils of his own burning mind
