Bornhatred
Abreaktion
Chilean thrash metal maestros ABREAKTION's new EP release "Bornhatred" will certainly put the fire in the belly (and ears) of many metal fans.
Senescence
Vile Rites
This was an impressive display of technical and progressive death metal that didn’t stray too far from the path, but just far enough to allow the listener to gain a greater understanding of the possibilities that are out there.
Category 7
Category 7
As you would expect and hope, the production of "Category 7" is top notch. Hard, Heavy hitting, but still with enough space for the Melodic parts that are being played. As far as I can tell CATEGORY 7 is launching themselves into the Premier League Of Thrash Metal.
Schizophrenia
Cavalera
As I see it “Schizophrenia” should be the last album that needs the CAVALERA treatment, as from the next SEPULTURA album onwards, “Beneath The Remains”, the sound has been impeccable. So now you can enjoy every SEPULTURA album with a sound deserving of the music.
Heathen Cross
Cloven Hoof
If you are talking about t a band that has been around for ages, the one that most prople do not think of from the start is CLOVEN HOOF. But, they did start life in 1979 and they might never have entered the Premier League of NWOBHM, but they were there nevertheless.
Dreadful Company
DD Verni
DD VERNI is hitting everything on the head with a vengeance. He is taking no prisoners. If you dopn't understand what he is soinging you are lacking the basic knowledge of the English language. Not one word is too difficult to grasp, and he is making sure you know what he means. On top of that he is playing everything himself, except for the drums and some guest guitarists. That makes “Dreadul Company” even more impressive in my book.
Spilling the Astral Chalice
Siderean
This is Death Metal, through and through, but it also has an air of sophistication to it. Many of its mysteries are hidden in its layers, and you have to peel them back to experience them. As technical as it is Progressive, it hits the listener on a variety of levels and emotions, and makes one think deeply. My only complaint about the album is that I want more…the darkness summons.
Gravesight
Human Infection
The most memorable parts are the bad parts, and everything else is just “meh.”
Nightfall Enthralled
Ancient Guard
“Nightfall Enthroned” by ANCIENT GUARD is a lo-fi, heavily shrouded swath of contemplative Black Metal, both Atmospheric and visceral. A solid debut for the latest Nightwolf project.
Houses Of The Unholy
Grand Massive
GRAND MASSIVE’s “House of the Unholy” is a sturdy bridge between studio LPs. Clever title, bizarre and striking cover, first-rate tracks throughout, and a convincing cover to round it all out.
British Disaster The Battle of '89 (Live At The Astoria)
Exodus
EXODUS has nailed another good one on my list. “British Disaster The Battle of '89 (Live At The Astoria)” is one of the best live recordings I have heard in the last number of years, and it will undoubtedly be part of my phone's play list for a very long time.
Altar Of Instant Gratification
Duft
I am currently listening to DUFT, a Metalcore/Hardcore band that came to fruition in 2021. now, some three years later, they are releasing their debut album with the extensive title “Altar Of Instant Gratification”. I was very hesitant at first, as I felt that this was just a very limited Metalcore record. Did I change my mind?
Unbroken
Floodfall
FLOODFALL. I have been on the site of the band, and I can't find the time that these guys got together. And,m as these two have the same surname, what kind of connection they have with each other. So, I am not in a position to tell you a whole lot more.
Renouncement
Motivik
MOTIVIK originates from Atlanta, Georgia, USA and if you try to listen to what kind of music they play you will end up classifiying it as Melodic Thrash mixed with Heavy Metal, all in a contemporary setting.

Master's Personae
Exhumination
All in all,
EXHUMINATION
's “
Master's Persona
” is an album that breaks back the danger and volatile atmosphere of death metal.
Mask of Lies
Dendera
Mask of Lies is an album full of quality. Melody, harmony and downright aggressiveness are the pillars that hold this record up and those about to hear it will NOT want to turn it off.
Ontology of Naught
Ingurgitating Oblivion
From Bandcamp, “Unsurprisingly, considering the band's acclaimed body of work to date, this is no […]
Unholy Decent
Pathology
Deep within the south Cali heat of San Diego comes a technical brutality of putrid death bombardment that will leave you wanting more
Rite De Passage
Big Sun
Too soft for my metal ears.
ReHydration
Hydra
HYDRA is different than a lot of AOR bands out there, due to their liberal use of keyboards along with the guitars, and much of their music on the album is expressive and deep with emotional layers. In my opinion, the are closer to JOURNEY than RATT, but that is neither here nor there. The album has plenty of big hooks, and I can’t imagine fan of the genre who would not like this album.
Blackshift
Ghostheart Nebula
The album reminded me of a slow, evil rot creeping over the lands. At first, people start getting sick from things they can’t see. When the blackness taints flowers and grey skies become more visible, some people begin to retreat, and others lose their sense of self. By the time the sickness and rot have taken hold, people wander aimlessly, and without a connection to others, the void has won.
The Promised Land?
Black Sites
What struck me most about the band is their talent. The songwriting was good as well, perhaps just a bit stale, but the energy they put into their music leaves no doubt that they are genuine to themselves, and that is all that matters in music…making something of your own, and leaving your mark.
Devil In The Dust
Distorta
Good promise from Australia.
I May Be Some Time
Million Moons
To summarize, the moon's phases represent the passage of time and cycles, and can symbolize the natural ebb and flow of life. Sometimes your life is difficult, and other times pleasant, and I’d like to think that the pleasant times outweigh the difficult ones. Through seven instrumental songs, you can experience this all of the natural flow of life and much more with a few listens to “I May Be Some Time” by MILLION MOONS.
Smog
Absorb
My only real complaint about the album is that it is too short. Just when I began to make peace with the dreadful mood, it was over. Still, if you can survive these three heart-piercing songs, you have real constitution. They beat you over the head when you are already down for the count, mercilessly.
Hellven
Zorza
I agree with the band that the only person you can really count on is yourself. The song titles fit the music very well, and in my head, I conjured images of evil, torture, vile creatures, and my own demise. It was a journey like no other.
Banished By Sin
Deicide
DEICIDE's back as blasphemous and relevant as ever! Spin the album and let your ears be slashed to pieces!
Hellbutcher
Hellbutcher
HELLBUTCHER's here to hunt down all wimps and posers with this infamous (and excellent) release!
Crownshift
Crownshift
WOW, this first release of this Finnish quartet is PERFECT!!!
Stellkira
Belushi Speed Ball
This Crossover/Hardcore/Thrash Metal release is plenty of different influences, and it's a 'must be' for the fans of such genres.
Under The Crooked Claw
BAT
Hear to this album and surrender to BAT's music!!!!
The Power
Moon Shot
Rock 'n' Roll as it must be, but with modern and with an eclectic appeal.
Hosana
Antiflesh
It’s evident from both the names of the band members and the music that this is true Black Metal. But, the music is inventive as well as uncompromising. Aggressive and frightening, it’s a soundtrack to your inner destruction.
