Lust For Domination
Yass-Waddah
Opening up with this blistering barrage frenzy in boisterously bouncy calamity of rampantly rompy thuds and crunchy firepower expertise; "Collective Catatonia" bulldozes eardrums with razor-sharp volatility that bludgeons heads with visceral rippage that slays with grinding execution from shredding revver Pietro Baldan on guitars, belting a clobbering foundation in dexterously dynamic sulfphurity that slabs with solid maelstrom momentum that's just venomously punchy in every chuggy way. "Ouroboros" continues densely impulsing speakers with wildly rushing substance of organically relentless piledrives that's nothing short of rambunctious, which showcases Corrado Linzi's striking pursuits of sonically seamless slams which stampede with rampageous tonality & rumbling reverberation from audible bassist's flickering thumps of sturdy maliciousness from Graziano Stefanutti which forges a berserking distinction in diabolical intensities that's most malignant.
Monolithic tempo shrouds you with persistently persevering meatiness within "In The Name Of Progress"; where more pandemonic ruthlessness manifests with weighty, punchline tightness that's full of rigorous vigour and concretely gritty but chaos driven havoc which rollicks with frolicking gallops for good measure. Nothing but an extreme execution seamlessly rollicks with venomously trailblazing intensity, injecting an infectious conjuration in concretely gritty bombast heralds a savagely monstrous strike on rumbling reverb & pugnacious vocal shrieks from Gabriele De Rossi who soars with throaty raspiness amongst a barking but guttural growl of shrieky scours that yell with menacing shoutiness that unleashes rampageous screams that's salubriously symbolic whilst good for the neck to thrash to.
"Flesh Suit", Ride The Kali Yuga" & "Sophisticated Use Of Force" all fabricate an impactful impulse in flexibly fundamental crescendos that ramify with profusely robust shreds that showcase volatile nimbleness whilst strident strife of weighty tightness robustly thumps out stompy precision that's profusely distorted and gnarly all around. Tremolo raising tonality forges a distilled but chiselling grind that's virtuosic and steely. A hybrid experimentation on steamrolling distinction elements a distinguished implementation on piercing revs & progressively technical vehemency that's most virulent yet vivaciously hostile.
"Envelope Filled With Black Sand", "Burn Your Flag" & the penultimate "Fortune Favours The Brave" craft a fierce crunch in bombarding but berserking abhorrence that's just a borderline foundation in groundbreaking; instrumental havoc, as brutally relentless riffage utilises versatile synergy that stabilizes with unique velocities in vicious songwriting musicianship that's most persistent on the perseverance of their ability... assimilating a complex contrast on outré panache with a hint of outrageous yet prolific metal thrashing meltdowns that's so primitively raw to jam to.
Overall concluding "Lust For Domination" with the finale banger "Decomposition Of Virtues"; I am compelled to say that YASS-WADDAH most surely offered a healthy dose in some oppressive extreme Black Metal malevolence that will subjugate you to a brisk beatdown of this justifiable subgenre that's symphonically dark for good sport. With a few albums and an EP under their belt, an album time that ranges around 40 minutes long... this band arranges an intricately designed formula on this strong performance that's will simply make you want to break chairs over other chairs in no time - until the next slice. Worthy of spinning a couple of times, as an enjoyably entertaining discovery awaits you with prodigious furore and an experience of bullish blasphemy - do check it out.
